Pet Store in Painted Post, New York

Have bought a leopard gecko and two fish from here. I buy all of my crickets for my bearded dragon and the leopard gecko here. These guys are awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to lend a hand. The store is always well stocked and clean. The animals are well taken care of. So glad to have them nearby!

I use to go to PetSmart for my crickets but I never seem to get the amount I asked for. I usually get 50 crickets and I swear it looks like I only get 25. I went to Lisa's pet place and got exactly the amount I asked for and no less. They also answered any questions I had. The place is very clean and the animals are well taken care of. Great place. Staff is super nice and friendly.

We come to Lisa's pet place for insects for our beardie, its a weekly trip but seriously we don't live far so this is perfect. Also the only place we do business strictly because we have been ripped off before, spent $6 for "32" crickets only ended up with like 12 in the container.

My 12 yr old son wanted a Ball Python. After checking a few stores without success we called Lisa's from Horseheads. They had one in stock, my son told them we would be there as soon as possible. when we arrived store was dark. the door opened and we were waved in. They were actually closed but had waited for my son so he could get his snake! That's what customer service is all about. Great store, great people, great service!

I am so impressed with this place! She is very nice and patient, she will stand an explain to you what fish go with each other and what not to get. That store also smells super good for a pet place. I’m so happy with the fish she helped me pick out and I will definitely go back again

Back in 2012 I got a bearded dragon form them and and continues to get his food there for years. I now go there for all my dogs needs. Their animals and reptiles are very well tempered, and their store in general just looks so nice. Not to mention a life sized cut out of Steve Erwin which I adore. This place really does have something for everyone who has a pet. If it swims, flies, crawls or even walks on eight legs they’ve got everything you’ll ever need. Highly recommend. 10/10 ??
